Job Description

The role of Quantity Surveyor is a critical component of our project management team at BSS Contract Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our commercial operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial success of our projects.

  • Review and approve contract documents to guarantee compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare cost reports for clients, providing detailed analysis and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
  • Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts, authorizing payments and finalizing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Quantity Surveyor, your primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of project costs, including actuals vs budget comparisons.
  • Preparing and negotiating change events, extension of time claims, and final accounts.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure smooth project execution and positive outcomes.
  • Providing commercial advice and support to project teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and spoken communication skills.
  • A professional qualification in quantity surveying or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
