Lead Day Centre Service Manager

About the Role

The Day Centre provides a welcoming environment for clients with dementia, offering a range of activities and support services to promote their physical and emotional wellbeing.

As a Lead Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients.

  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
  • Manage staff rotas, ensure adequate staffing levels, and provide effective supervision and training to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of client care plans, medications, and other relevant information.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control and medication administration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Care or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a health or social care setting, including 3 years' management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, develop and implement care plans, and maintain accurate records.
  • Full clean driving licence.

You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to people affected by dementia.

  • Registered Nurse qualification.
