We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM2) to lead the effective development and delivery of our day service in Clonroad, Ennis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day service hub in Miltown Malbay.

Job Description

The successful candidate will oversee the day service in Ennis, providing support to approximately 23 adults with complex physical, sensory, and intellectual disabilities. You will also manage the day service hub in Miltown Malbay, supporting 3 individuals currently, with plans for future expansion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and delivery of the day service in Ennis and Miltown Malbay
  • Managing staff and coordinating support services
  • Ensuring high-quality care and support for individuals with disabilities
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification from the Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation (NMBI)
  • A minimum of 5 years post-qualification full-time experience (or aggregated equivalent)
  • 2 years' experience working with adults with disabilities (or aggregated equivalent)
  • 2 years' management/coordination experience, including people management and staff supervision
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of individual support and day services
  • Full clean driver's license
  • Annual registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann)
