Senior Officer Job Overview

The role of a Senior Officer involves utilizing experience and excellent organizational skills to meet client requirements.

  • Oversight of deal agreements and KYC documents is essential for new investments or borrowers;
  • Escalation of any missing KYC information with the client and their vendors/legal representatives is crucial;
  • Performance of quality reviews on projects and sign-off ensures accountability;
  • Maintenance of KYC information in clients/UBOs database and electronic document management system is vital;
  • Monitoring tasks related to investments/transactions and their parties require regular oversight;
  • Effective collaboration with key stakeholders using strong influencing skills is necessary for issue resolution;
  • Familiarity with screening tools such as WorldCheck/Dow Jones/Finscan would be advantageous;
  • Ability to interpret risk ratings and utilize investigatory initiative is required;
  • Contributing to training material development and mentoring new team members enhances knowledge sharing;
  • Process improvement and automation initiatives benefit from team contribution;
  • Providing input for CDD procedures ensures compliance.
