Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory instruments within our facility.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team-based environment.

The Quality Control (QC) Instrumentation Specialist will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of laboratory instruments, including purchase, qualification, calibration and maintenance services.

  • Manage all aspects of instrument management in a controlled environment.
  • Develop project plans and qualification procedures for laboratory instruments.
  • Strong fundamental understanding of protein biochemistry is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide calibration and/or maintenance service to the QC laboratory.
  2. Review and approve analytical instrumentation qualification, calibration, repairs and documentation.
  3. Ensure instrument maintenance and verification is appropriate for the use of the instrument.
  4. Manage instrument-specific investigations such as calibration deviations.
  5. Trend lab instrument performance and lifecycle management.
  6. Participate in new instrument purchase and qualification.
