Job Title:

Mechanical Piping Supervisor

Job Purpose:

The Construction Piping Supervisor oversees and coordinates all piping installation activities at the construction site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, quality standards, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily piping construction activities including fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, and flushing.
  • Interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and material specifications.
  • Ensure work is performed according to design, specifications, and project standards.
  • Monitor and verify contractor and subcontractor work quality and progress.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and Engineering departments.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of piping materials and equipment.
  • Manage and track manpower, tools, and materials on site.
  • Conduct and participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.
  • Prepare and submit daily progress reports, inspection requests, and site instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Resolve technical or site-related issues in coordination with engineering or project team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in piping construction, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, welding techniques, and construction standards.
  • Familiarity with isometrics, P&IDs, and piping material specifications.
  • Understanding of hydrotest packages and pre-commissioning activities.
