Job Overview
Rocketsuite has been engaged by an international construction company to source a Commercial Finance Manager. This commercially focused finance role will be responsible for managing the balance sheet, tracking project costs and liabilities, and collaborating with commercial and accounts teams to minimise WIP and debtor days.

About the Role

As a key member of the financial management team, you will collaborate with the management accountant to ensure proper allocation of materials procured for projects to their respective contracts.

The successful candidate will coordinate with the procurement team to meet delivery requirements on behalf of the commercial team and work closely with Quantity Surveyors to ensure Cost Value Reconciliation reports are accurately aligned with original project budgets.

A crucial aspect of this role is ensuring the project budget is finalised and uploaded into the ERP system for effective project performance tracking.

You will also monitor project performance and report any variances against approved budgets, reviewing these budgets with Quantity Surveyors to ensure they align with financial reports for each project's contract.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 2 years PQE
  • Experience within the construction industry
  • Strong Excel skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including verbal, written, report writing, and presentation skills.
