
Senior Event Planner

We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of various events.
The Event Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event execution. This includes utilizing social media and other channels to generate buzz and communicate important notices about programs. Additionally, the Event Coordinator will negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to maximize value, manage event budgets, track expenditure, coordinate service and venue providers, suppliers, tenders, quotes, and contract negotiation, coordinate large quantities of data, develop and implement PR and communications strategies, coordinate all aspects of events including production, design, entertainment, room setup, registration, and take-down, and respond to event-related queries on a daily basis.
Requirements:- At least 3 years' experience in event management or a related field
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- A high level of attention to detail is essential
- You should be friendly, approachable, and able to take direction
- Have a can-do attitude
- Be organized
- Be a clear communicator
- A degree in Event Management or a related field is preferred (Business/Marketing related fields will be considered)
- A driving license and access to own transport is a plus
