Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client and company obligations on various projects.

The Senior Commercial Manager will work closely with project teams to deliver project outcomes to client expectations. This includes collaborating with client teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to required quality, with a commitment to safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or other commercially related discipline, or extensive experience in Programme and Project commercial pre- and post-contract activities, including cost management.
  • Chartered MRICS or working towards chartered status (MRICS); commitment to CPD.
  • Experience setting and implementing procurement strategies, running tenders, advising on contract conditions and amendments (NEC focus).
  • Strong Commercial and Cost experience with sound financial judgment on high-value matters.
  • Experience in commercial management and administration of a wide range of contracts, writing, placing and administering contracts, particularly NEC; experience using CEMAR or similar.
  • Cost analysis, due diligence, forecasting, monitoring, reporting, and post-contract management on projects/programmes and D&B contracts.
  • Experience building a Commercial and Cost Team with clear roles and accountabilities.
  • Strong client and stakeholder relationship skills with effective cross-team communication.
