We are seeking experienced HGV drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

This role involves delivering goods in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. You will be responsible for driving vehicles, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring compliance with road safety legislation and operational procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive vehicles safely and courteously, adhering to road legislation and company policies.
  2. Report any vehicle defects promptly to maintain a high level of fleet reliability.
  3. Loading and unloading vehicles safely, checking deliveries against dockets to prevent errors.
  4. Deliver or pump-over products to customer sites safely and efficiently, minimizing disruption to customers.
  5. In the event of product spillage, follow correct procedures to minimize environmental impact and ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Complete delivery dockets accurately and submit them daily to maintain a transparent record of activities.
  7. Maintain accurate records of daily vehicle checklists, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  8. Write incident reports as required to address issues promptly and effectively.

Candidate Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience transporting ADR classified loads (ideally Class 8 Chemicals).
  • Previous multi-drop delivery experience across Ireland.
  • Forklift operation experience is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Route planning experience is also beneficial, allowing you to optimize delivery routes and reduce fuel consumption.
  • Familiarity with pumps, valves, compressors, and batch controllers for liquid transfer is desirable.
  • Practical experience in manual handling and PPE use is essential for your safety and that of others.
  • You must have the right to work in the EU, ensuring you can contribute fully to our team.

Training and Certifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification (desirable).
  • A full, clean HGV licence with valid ADR and CPC certification.
  • Experience within the chemical or hazardous goods sector is an advantage.
