Senior Project Planner Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner to join our team in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of expertise in all areas of planning and provide technical assistance on diverse town planning projects.

About the Role:

Under the direction of a Director of Planning, the Senior Project Planner will support the delivery of projects across various sectors, including infrastructure, commercial, and residential developments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collating and analyzing socio-economic, demographic, policy, and related material.
  • Writing reports summarizing analysis, findings, and providing clear, reasoned advice.
  • Attending meetings with clients, planning authorities, and other stakeholders as a representative of the organization.
  • Supporting business development initiatives and ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance procedures.

Requirements:

Essential qualifications and experience include:

  • Professional qualification or chartered status (Member of IPI and/or RTPI).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in town planning after attaining the qualification.
  • Technically proficient with excellent working knowledge of planning legislation and policy matters.
