Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back Dock Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of the back dock, and maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Operate and maintain a clean and tidy back dock, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked to prevent any substandard or incorrect goods from being delivered to customers.
  • Follow Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures at all times.
  • Protect and secure Harvey Norman stock.
  • Understand departmental action plans and support goals and targets set by management.
  • Adhere to company performance standards at all times.
  • Comply with Health & Safety policies in the warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a customer-focused industry, preferably in a warehousing or retail environment. They should possess excellent communication skills, be numerically literate, and have a flexible approach to work.
