Our organization seeks a dedicated professional to fill the role of Care and Support Specialist.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing referrals and conducting thorough assessments of service users' needs

  • Fostering strong relationships with tenants to promote housing sustainment and address maintenance issues effectively
  • Collaborating closely with local authorities and other agencies to deliver seamless support services

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of social care principles, community work, and case management practices.

Requirements
  • National Diploma in Applied Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience in residential social care services, preferably in homeless/supported housing sector
  • Leadership experience and knowledge of health and safety legislation, data protection, report writing, and funding structures for homeless services
