About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Electronics Engineer in our Structural Heart Department. The successful candidate will be based in Galway and play a key role in developing electronic systems and products.

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer with a strong background in electrical circuit design and PCB layout. Experience in micro-electronics, particularly in regulated industries such as medical devices, is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of micro bonding (Epoxy & Solder) and strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. They should also be able to diagnose and fix electrical issues through effective troubleshooting abilities.

In addition to electrical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and team collaboration skills, as well as experience in product testing and validation to ensure safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic systems and products
  • Conduct testing and validation to ensure safety and performance
  • Detect and resolve electrical issues through effective troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Electronic Engineering with a background in medical devices or other regulated industries
  • Proficiency in CAD/Solidworks tool
