About this Position
This role involves leading a team of accountants in processing and reviewing financial transactions to ensure accurate accounting records. The successful candidate will also prepare reports according to various accounting rules, partnership agreements, or client-specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Client Service: Provide high-quality client service on a range of matters including recording and analyzing transactions, reconciliations, and preparation of work paper packages.
- Audit Coordination: Assist in coordinating external audits.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Partner Capital Calls: Create and review partner capital calls, monthly and quarterly partner capital statements, including calculation of partner allocations.
- Waterfall Models: Calculate and review waterfall models, distribution notices, and management fees.
- New Client Onboarding: Onboard new clients.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with one or more clients, managing client expectations, and meeting all client deliverables.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentoring to accountants and senior accountants.
- Work Review: Review accountants and senior accountants' work.
- Audit Support: Help manage year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials.
- Client Planning Meetings: Participate in client planning meetings.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Complete client ad hoc projects.
