AI Feature Engineer for Microsoft Word

We are seeking a talented and driven full-stack engineer to help build innovative AI features into the world's most popular word processing application.

This is an opportunity to be part of a cross-functional organization that designs, develops, tests, and releases new wave of productivity-enhancing features, transforming the customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software engineering principles and experience developing features for large-scale customer-facing applications. Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills are also required to provide guidance to other software engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, produce, and deliver resilient and maintainable software to improve usability, reliability, scalability, performance, and security of the product.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, bug/issue triage with feature teams, data and experiment analysis, and support data-driven decisions towards business and engineering goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and technical engineering experience with full-stack languages and frameworks such as TypeScript, React, JavaScript, Node.js, and Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles, with experience developing features for large-scale customer-facing applications.
  • Experience building and maintaining libraries, SDKs, and other shared platform components.
