Job Title: National Director of Services

Job Description

The Child and Family Agency was established in 2014, providing a range of statutory functions including child protection, alternative care, and family support services. The Agency has commenced an improvement programme focusing on practice, culture, and structure.

We have responsibility for delivering services through over 5,500 people across 259 locations nationwide. Our services include:

  • Child Protection and Welfare
  • Parenting, Family Support, and Early Help Services
  • Alternative Care
  • Birth Information & Tracing and Adoption
  • Tusla Education Support Services (TESS)
  • Children's Service Regulation
  • Counselling and Therapeutic Supports

This role is a key part of our senior management structure, overseeing operational services and integrating all parts of the Agency to achieve objectives. The post holder will provide operational management and direction of specified services, expanding as the Tusla Integrated Reform Programme gathers pace.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delegated responsibility from and accountability to the CEO, deputising as required. They will also assist the CEO in the overall management of the Agency.
