This role will suit an organised and adaptable person who will strengthen the firm's operations and reputation.
Duties- Acting as the first point of contact for clients on the switch and in person, establishing a relationship and rapport with same;
- Co-ordinating and monitoring daily office activities, including client meetings, office maintenance, administration, post, and maintaining the smooth running of the office;
- Providing administrative support to fee earners, including typing, organising payments to third parties, scheduling title documents and managing post;
- Ensuring office equipment is fully functional and logging calls to IT support as required;
- Managing use of strongroom, offsite storage of documents, undertakings register and title documents;
- Carrying out ad-hoc duties as required.
The ideal candidate should have a legal background, good IT knowledge (proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook) and the ability to use their own initiative in a demanding environment.
They should be adaptable and willing to carry out ancillary duties.
