We are seeking a seasoned technical leader to join our team as a hands-on Software Engineer. As a key member of our Agile Scrum team, you will drive the delivery of high-quality platform features and integrations using Java, Kubernetes, and modern cloud-native technologies. You will serve as the technical authority for the team, guiding architecture across services, APIs, and data layers.
About the Role- Technical Leadership: Lead design, development, and delivery of complex platform features and integrations. Promote API design best practices, observability, performance optimization, and secure coding.
- Agile Team Management: Act as Scrum Team Lead, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring smooth delivery cycles. Coach and develop software engineers and SDETs, fostering ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to define and deliver high-impact platform capabilities.
- Technical Expertise: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role. Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, distributed systems using Java and cloud-native technologies.
- Technologies & Data: Hands-on experience with Redis, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and data modeling. Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices deployment strategies.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to lead Agile Scrum teams, facilitate ceremonies, and drive iterative delivery. People management skills including mentoring, performance reviews, and career development.
