Head of Payroll Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Payroll Processing to lead our high-performing payroll team in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will oversee the operation of multiple payrolls across Ireland and the UK, ensuring accurate and timely payment of over 4,500 employees weekly. This is a senior leadership role within our Shared Service Centre, ideal for candidates with extensive experience in senior payroll or finance positions.

As a leader, you will inspire your team to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services, driving performance and fostering a strong culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day payroll operations, including weekly and monthly payroll runs, using Megapay software.
- Provide strong leadership, direction, and coaching to the Payroll Team.
- Project manage payroll-related initiatives, including legislative requirements and system enhancements.
- Coordinate audit requests and ensure timely information is provided.
- Lead payroll integration for business acquisitions and new property openings.
- Analyse payroll KPIs and trends, providing actionable insights and regular reports.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years professional payroll experience in Ireland and/or the UK.
- Expertise in payroll systems, particularly Megapay.
- Strong knowledge of Irish and UK payroll legislation.
