Operations Manager Role

The Operations Manager position is pivotal in ensuring the seamless functioning of our stores. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.

Leadership
  • Create a motivating and inclusive environment for your colleagues and customers
  • Be accountable for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are not present
Team Enhancement
  • Ensure that my team members are fully trained and certified in their roles
  • Foster environments of two-way communication, inspiring trust among colleagues
Mentorship and Guidance
  • Mentor and guide colleagues to enable them to deliver their daily priorities and be available to meet customers' needs
  • Review reports and systems to facilitate improvements beneficial to customers and colleagues
Driving Performance
  • Promote a culture of zero food waste, managing date codes and preventing any food suitable for human consumption from being discarded
  • Recruit top talent for our team, selecting those passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
Operational Efficiency
  • Manage stock control activities, warehouse layout, and processes to ensure all colleagues can complete their tasks correctly the first time
  • Analyze and rectify any price discrepancies, overcharges, refunds, or labeling errors to guarantee customers are charged accurately at all times
Customer Centricity
  • Oversee the front-end operation to prevent customer queueing
  • Recognize and acknowledge excellent customer service provided by colleagues and offer constructive feedback where necessary for improvement
