Site Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities Include Managing Day-to-Day Operations, Ensuring Sales and Profitability Targets Are Met, And Overseeing Personnel, Quality, Cleanliness, Merchandising, Local Store Marketing, and Cost Management.

  • Recruit, Train, and Develop High-Quality Personnel for All Departments Within the Store.
  • Oversee Rostering and General Management of Personnel to Ensure Adequate Cover Within Budgetary Provisions While Maintaining Quality Service to Customers in All Areas of the Store and Across All Offerings/Brands.
  • Plan and Organise All Aspects of the Operation to Include All Fuel, Food (Hot & Cold – All Brands), Retail (Convenience Shop), Together with Ancillary Offerings on Site Provided to the Customer.
  • In the Absence of a Manager, Take the Leading Role, Overseeing Operations, and Leading by Example.
  • Manage the Overall Performance of the Site, and Drive Operations to Ensure This Store Is Maximized.
  • Merchandise Professionally, Using Planograms Where Necessary to Maximise Space and Offerings.
  • Manage the Performance of the Team Utilising Effective Performance Management Techniques in Line with Labour Law.
  • Continually Communicate with Managers Regarding Objectives and Store Performance.
  • Set Goals for the Store to Ensure Effective Customer Service and Competitiveness.
  • Develop and Implement a Plan for the Store, Communicating the Plan, and Achieving Objectives.

  • Ability to Get Involved With the Local Community in a Positive Way Leading to Goodwill and Loyalty.
  • Financial Skills With Previous Experience in Budgets and Profit and Loss Accounts.
  • Working Knowledge of Labour Law, Health and Safety Regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law.
  • An Excellent Commercial Acumen With the Ability to Anticipate and React to Market Changes.
  • Committed to Continually Improving Standards.
