Lead Drainage Engineer Position

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of drainage design services to time and budget, ensuring a high standard of technical quality and compliance with our management systems.">
  • Key responsibilities include production of drainage designs, assessments, and checking others' work, preparation or checking of models, calculations, written reports, specifications, and other contract deliverables.">
  • Ensuring that design, assessments, and checking of designs are in accordance with current Standards, Codes of Practice, and Best Practices.">
  • Supervising a team of engineers and technicians, mentoring, and developing less experienced engineers and technicians within project teams.">
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships through project work, identifying and realising potential business opportunities.">

Achieved Chartered Engineer (C.Eng) status with experience working on multi-disciplinary projects.">Experience in railway design and build environment or highways drainage design, including understanding engineering interdependencies across the project life cycle.">Skilled analytical ability and solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, current design standards, and latest drainage design tools and software.">Effective communication skills with ability to professionally communicate with design teams, clients, and contractors.">Good team leadership skills with ability to support, mentor, and develop less experienced engineers.">">
