Visual Merchandising Manager Job Description

COS is seeking an experienced Visual Merchandising Manager to oversee the implementation of a clear and coherent customer journey throughout our stores.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Offer exceptional direct customer service by establishing in-depth knowledge of trends, products, and styling across the Store Team.
  2. Ensure excellent indirect customer service by delivering an impactful store experience and clear customer journey.
  3. Analyze selling information and service results, taking responsibility for the visual direction of the store to maximize sales performance.
  4. Lead and motivate a team of Visual Merchandisers to achieve excellent visual standards in your responsible stores.
  5. Collaborate with store management teams to define the customer journey when needed.
  6. Identify future talents and create development plans to support their progression.
  7. Set the visual merchandising standard for your responsible stores and train the team to understand the COS collection, story of key products, and inspiration background.
  8. Communicate with Area Visuals and provide feedback to the Area Team and Store Management Teams regularly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trend knowledge: Understanding of the latest trends, fashion, and silhouettes.
  • Visual merchandising expertise: Experience working with visual-merchandising guidelines, including window display and mannequin styling.
  • Operational routine knowledge: Knowledge of operational routines in-store.
  • Sales data analysis: Experience taking informed VM actions based on commercial KPIs and sales data.
  • Languages: Able to communicate in English.
  • Leadership skills: Experience leading a team or supervising others is an advantage.
