About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating lead times with suppliers and integrating them into a comprehensive project plan.

They will contribute to value engineering and buildability reviews, ensuring projects are practical and efficient while ensuring compliance with Irish building regulations, planning permissions, and health & safety legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, planning permissions, and health & safety legislation.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in construction management or engineering.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in project planning within residential construction.
Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience as a construction planner, preferably within the residential development sector in Ireland.
  • Proficiency in Asta Powerproject software (essential).
  • Strong technical understanding of the Irish housebuilding process – from greenfield site to handover, including groundworks, utilities, timber frame/traditional build, and fit-out.
  • Knowledge of Irish construction regulations, planning requirements, and BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in high-profile residential developments across Ireland.
