Fidelity Investments Inc. is a leading global financial services company with a significant presence in Ireland. As a Senior Manager of Risk and Compliance, you will play a critical role in driving the company's risk management strategy and ensuring that it aligns with regulatory requirements.

Job Overview

The Senior Manager of Risk and Compliance will provide strategic leadership and guidance on risk management and compliance matters, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks. This will include developing and implementing risk management frameworks, conducting regular risk assessments, and ensuring that the organization's risk management processes are effective.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks to drive the company's risk management strategy.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure that the organization's risk management processes are effective.
  • Lead and manage compliance readiness assessments across Fidelity Corporate Support Functions.
  • Taking the lead in delivering comprehensive management information to senior management including the Risk Committees.
  • Work with support functions to mitigate, manage and monitor risks across the organization.
  • Ad-hoc project-based work, including reporting and analyses as needed.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across the globe within Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Corporate Support Functions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, business administration).
  • Extensive experience in operational and enterprise risk management within a financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Risk assessment tools, Control Testing Methodologies, Scenario Analysis, Risk Appetite documentation, Risk Reporting to senior management and board, KRIs/KCIs identification, documentation and reporting.
  • In-depth understanding of the regulatory environment with experience of working in regulations/guidance issued by the Central Bank of Ireland and other independent EU authorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills and knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies.
  • Proven track record of coaching, mentoring, and empowering others to deliver.
