Job Overview:

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations and reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller. Your primary goal will be to ensure seamless integration of finance team activities.

  • Manage stock movement reconciliations, prepare statutory returns, control costs, and manage pricing effectively.
  • Process purchase invoices, reconcile them accurately, and maintain accurate debtor ledgers.
  • Engage with suppliers, customers, and colleagues in a professional manner.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports and annual audit files.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • A qualified or part-qualified accountant with excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, take direction, and receive feedback effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual with a "can-do" attitude, competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software, and organised with high accuracy.
  • Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
