Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Assistant Director of Services.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire teams to deliver safe, person-centred services.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams to deliver exceptional services that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement Quality Improvement Plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee referrals, admissions, and transition processes to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
  • Take responsibility for governance, leadership, risk management, health & safety, training, and service development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Level 7+ Degree in Social Care, Nursing, or Social Care Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience at PIC level (or above) within Disability Services or another relevant human service.
  • Experience managing multiple designated centres.
  • Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations, safeguarding legislation, and person-centred planning.
  • A full driver's license and access to own transport.
