Treasury Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join a rapidly growing organization in the Energy sector. As part of our core finance team, you will be responsible for building out a Treasury function while working alongside an experienced team.

This role is well-suited to an experienced Treasury Manager looking for their next career step. Our organization has been growing rapidly and has big plans to continue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day banking relationships, account openings, and KYC exercises.
  • Lead cash pooling and streamline bank account structures.
  • Ensure strong controls around bank payments and straight-through processing.
  • Deliver accurate cash reporting and forecasting (short & long term).
  • Oversee bank reconciliations and working capital facility management.
Debt Management:
  • Monitor covenant compliance and update financial models.
  • Prepare and coordinate waiver requests.
  • Update forecasts for funding cash flows.
  • Track interest rates and benchmark transactions.
  • Support the Project Finance Associate.
Financing & Risk Management:
  • Oversee trade facilities (LCs), guarantees, inter-company financing and dividends.
  • Coordinate quarterly financial risk reviews.
  • Manage exposures and hedging across interest rates, FX, and inflation.
  • Support hedge accounting activities.
Requirements:
  • A strong academic background, with a degree in a technical discipline.
  • ACT, ACA or CFA qualified would be an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience.
  • Skilled stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills.
