Lead Educator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality program that meets the needs of all children.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for the development of individual children and the ability to work closely with the manager and other team members to achieve this goal.

You will be responsible for guiding, observing, stimulating, and supervising children in a safe and caring environment. This will involve acting as a positive role model and leading the staff team in the delivery of a program that is tailored to meet the needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children;
  • To work closely with the management team to deliver a program of the highest standard;
  • To act as a positive role model and lead the staff team in the delivery of a program that meets the needs of all children;
  • To have a minimum FETAC/QQI level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent DCEDIY-approved certification;
  • To have knowledge of child development, good communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
