Role Overview:

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the implementation of PDSCYP, enhancing outcomes for children and their families.

About the Role:

As a Senior Psychologist, you will facilitate the continued implementation of PDSCYP with an emphasis on optimal achievement of outcomes for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and enhance collaborative working with families, schools, and pre-schools to support children with complex disabilities.
  • Apply expertise in clinical, counselling or educational psychology to provide high-quality services.
Requirements:
  • Recognised university degree or diploma with 1st or 2nd-class honours in Psychology.
  • Post-graduate professional qualification in clinical, counselling or educational psychology or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health (PSI).
  • At least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology, with no more than three years spent in gaining the post-graduate professional qualification.
  • Appropriate supervised clinical placements or work experience in Disability (Child and Adult), Child Psychology, Adult Psychology.
