Health, Safety and Environmental professionals are highly valued in the construction industry.

We seek to employ a Project HSE Advisor who will work closely with our project management team to ensure that health, safety and environmental policies are implemented and maintained on site.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Promote and implement safe working practices and company policy and procedures on all sites
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report any findings to relevant personnel
  • Evaluate existing HSE project plans and recommend improvements to meet company standards
  • Identify initiatives for preventing incidents and submit proposals to the Project Manager or HSE & Sustainability Manager for review and implementation
  • Support the Project Manager in incident investigations
  • Maintain liaison with relevant regulatory bodies such as HSA and EPA

The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, as well as experience in managing projects within these frameworks. A Level 7 qualification in Health and Safety is essential, along with the ability to deliver internal training courses and conduct standard accident/incident investigations.

This role is ideal for experienced HSE practitioners looking to expand their skillset in a fast-paced project environment.

A thorough knowledge of regulations and legislation governing occupational health and safety, including the Employee (Organisations) Acts 1996-2005 and its subordinate regulations

Responsibilities also include:

  • Liaising with various stakeholders including customers, contractors and other third parties
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to achieve business objectives
