Road Maintenance Project Manager

This role is responsible for managing all contractual and financial elements of road maintenance projects to ensure delivery on budget, on time, and to specified standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
- Oversee procurement activities in line with framework and compliance requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they are vetted, approved, and compliant.
- Lead tendering and quoting processes from pre-qualification through to submission, ensuring profitability.
- Monitor and control project costs, preparing regular cost and progress reports for senior management.
- Proven experience in a commercial, estimating, or quantity surveying role within the road maintenance or civil engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of bituminous / tar surfacing works, materials, and methods.
- Demonstrated knowledge of EHSQ standards and compliance procedures in infrastructure or construction environments.
- Experience working within framework contracts and public sector procurement (preferred).
- Excellent commercial acumen with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
