Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Manager to lead the development and implementation of infrastructure risk management strategies.

  • The role involves ensuring the development and implementation of consistent and effective risk management tools, techniques, processes and standards across Infrastructure, in line with Contracting Entity policies and procedures and industry best practice.

The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in risk management activities and be able to provide timely and high-quality information, guidance and specialist advice on risk management across programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of infrastructure risk management strategies.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of consistent and effective risk management tools, techniques, processes and standards across Infrastructure.
  • Drive excellence in risk management activities and demonstrate significant expertise in this area.
Requirements and Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this position:

  • 15 years + experience in risk management across Infrastructure programmes of significant size and complexity.
  • In-depth knowledge of designing and implementing risk management strategies and process improvement practices across large programmes and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience of risk reporting and implementation of mitigation actions.
  • Good knowledge of EU and Irish legislation, law and best practice, in relation to risk management.
