Water Engineer Position

We are seeking a talented Water Engineer to join our Water Engineering Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to start their career in civil engineering, working on water infrastructure projects.

As a Water Engineer, you will contribute to all phases of water engineering projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction. You will learn from experienced engineers in a collaborative environment and have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in water engineering principles, regulations, and best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare feasibility, route, and site selection reports.
  • Contribute to concept and detailed design reports, including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
  • Develop technical specifications and contract documents for works and investigations.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for statutory approvals.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers during construction stage contract administration.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and in compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks under guidance from senior team members.
  • Perform site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline (or in progress).
  • Foundational understanding of water engineering principles and practices.
  • Eagerness to learn about design of water infrastructure projects and analysis tools.
  • Awareness of project management basics, including task prioritization, resource allocation, and timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
