Zurich Insurance Company Limited (Ireland Branch) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Capital Actuary to join their team. The successful candidate will provide actuarial and capital management support to Zurich Insurance Europe AG and EMEA.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. At least five years of post-qualification experience in an actuarial environment, preferably non-life insurance.
2. CERA qualification is a plus.
3. Significant experience in Capital and Risk Modelling, with a working knowledge of Solvency II requirements.
4. Experience managing projects and engaging with stakeholders, including senior management and regulators, is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
• Leading and contributing to Solvency II internal capital model tasks across various risk types, methodology, and technical development.
• Managing complex actuarial and capital analyses for risk type-specific deep dives, first-line and independent validation activities, and defined minor and major model changes.
• Planning and coordinating selected capital projects, including task and resource planning, leading working group meetings, presentations to senior management, and regulators (where applicable).
