Job Title:

Mechanical Equipment Specialist

About the Role:

This is a key position within our organization that requires a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter Technician. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintenance and breakdowns of processing plants/equipment, preferably within the water and wastewater industry.

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, investigating operational issues or system defects, and performing routine testing and servicing of operational equipment.

In addition, they will work effectively as part of a team and be capable of lone working when required, train and mentor apprentices and other members of the Engineering team, and complete all identified and relevant training requirements to meet company, legislative and standards.

Required Skills:
  • A minimum 3-5 years' experience in maintenance and breakdowns of processing plants/equipment, preferably within the water and wastewater industry.
  • Experience working in Water Treatment / Wastewater Treatment / Process Plants
  • Experience with dosing pumps
  • Mechanical Trade Qualified
  • Mechanical technical knowledge is mandatory.
