Professional Dental Hygiene Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team in a high-end dental practice located in Dublin 15.
The practice is easily accessible by public transport and offers a dynamic work environment.
- Perform routine dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
- Take and process dental radiographs to the prescription of a dentist (having completed a Dental Council approved course in dental radiography).
- Assess patients' oral health and provide personalized treatment recommendations.
- Provide expert advice on oral health, including planning and implementation of oral health promotion programs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Confirm medical and dental histories.
- Record hard and soft tissue and periodontal status.
- Apply supra and subgingival scaling, including comprehensive root surface debridement.
- Administer local infiltration and block anaesthesia to patients being treated.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
- Personable, positive, and enthusiastic attitude towards patient care.
- Good teamwork and adaptability.
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and oral).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask within a fast-paced environment.
