Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to drive the success of our Community Mental Health Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare sector and the ability to develop and implement strategic plans to improve services and outcomes.

About the Role:

This leadership position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, relevant professional qualifications, and experience in managing health or social care services. The selected candidate will oversee the delivery of mental health services across multiple sites, including community-based acute care and treatment, outpatient clinics, and inpatient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management of the Community based Mental Health Services
  • Develop and deliver on the Services' Strategic Plan in an effective and efficient manner
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new services and programs to meet the needs of the community
  • Identify areas for quality improvement and develop strategies to address these

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. nursing, social work, psychology)
  • Demonstrable leadership ability and experience in managing a health or social care service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver strategic plans
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare sector and current trends and issues
