Speech and Language Therapy Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in providing a quality service to adults.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing needs, as well as optimising communication environments for clients.

  • At least three years post-graduate adult clinical experience required.
  • Suitable clinical experience in the management of feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing disorders.
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities / Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy assessment, intervention and evidence-based practice.
  • Communicate effectively with adults with communication needs, their families and colleagues.
  • Lead a busy environment with clinical responsibility and accountability.
  • Plan and deliver care in an effective and resourceful manner.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to assuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Effective teamwork skills, including collaboration with Psychiatry, Occupational Therapy and Social Work.
  • Competency in IT, training and presentation skills.
