Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in an acute setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated therapist to contribute to a high-quality, person-centred service in a supportive hospital environment.

The successful candidate will provide a quality speech and language therapy service to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties in an acute and rehabilitation setting.

  • Assessments and treatment plans will be developed and delivered for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Collaborative work as part of a multidisciplinary team is expected to deliver holistic care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Registration (or eligibility to register) with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Certification and competence in the assessment and management of dysphagia.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional and compassionate approach to patient care.
