Job Title: Senior Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer to contribute to our organization's security efforts.


  • Maintain and enhance cybersecurity solutions to meet client needs.
  • Analyze SIEM alerts for threat detection and configure logging and alerting systems.
  • Document evidence of work in reports and status updates.
  • Effectively communicate findings and strategy to stakeholders, including technical staff, executive leadership, and legal counsel.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years professional experience in information security/cybersecurity engineering, systems administration, network security, or related field.
  • Punctuality and timely attendance to stakeholder needs.

Desired Technical Knowledge and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with:

  • SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, Microsoft Sentinel).
  • Log collection, parsing, and correlation rules.
  • Cloud Security: securing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
  • Programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Defender suite).
  • Understanding of IAM, conditional access policies, and secure by default concepts.
  • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR): EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender ATP, SentinelOne).
  • Malware analysis and forensic investigation.
  • Windows, Linux, and macOS security hardening.
  • Group Policy or Microsoft Intune.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals and common attacks/defenses.
