Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our client's team. This role involves working across both workshop and site-based environments, supporting the delivery, installation, and maintenance of low voltage (LV) switchgear and power distribution systems.

Location: Dublin (with regular travel to client sites across Europe). Must hold a valid visa and be based in Ireland.

About the Role

  • Installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of LV switchgear and related equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults both in-house and on client sites
  • Conduct thermal imaging surveys and perform necessary switchgear modifications
  • Liaising with clients and project teams to ensure high standards of delivery
  • Completing all required documentation, including test certificates and service reports
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Supporting continuous improvement through reporting and feedback

Requirements

  • Recognised Electrical Qualification (Ireland or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Strong background in LV switchgear or related electrical systems
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe and work outside standard hours when needed
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the EU and proficiency in English
