The Shelbourne Hotel is looking for an experienced In Room Dining Supervisor to lead our Room Service team.

Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Room Service department, providing exceptional service to our guests and upholding the high standards of The Shelbourne Hotel.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced food and beverage environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
  1. Operate the room service telephone system and take orders from guests
  2. Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in their rooms
  3. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the room service area
  4. Manage cash handling and operate a point-of-sale system
  5. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
