About the Role

The Registered General Nurse in this role will be accountable for ensuring safe and effective care delivery to patients throughout endoscopic and flexible cystoscopy procedures. This includes undertaking clinical assessment and management of patients within agreed pathways, highlighting concerns with consultant/anaesthetist/senior nursing management as appropriate, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of patient information before and after procedures.

  • Promote a patient-focused approach to care in collaboration with all relevant health agencies.
  • Ensure full completion of patient documentation pre and post-procedure, and before transferring patients into PACU.
  • Demonstrate safe and effective infection control practices.
