As an individual contributor within the Underwriting Support Unit, you will actively develop your knowledge and understanding of the fundamental skills and functions of the underwriting support process.

About This Role
  • You will be the primary point of contact for queries arising from Broker calls and emails.
  • Partner with underwriters and/or more senior UW Support employees in the end-to-end processing of new, and renewal business.
  • Identify means to continuously improve service delivery performance with COE partners and Brokers.

You will oversee quality control processes and where data quality or performance issues are identified, conduct root cause reviews and proactively suggest solutions/additional controls to eliminate issues.

This role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with all departments a service is provided to, specifically Underwriting, Finance, Actuarial and Claims.

You will train on and demonstrate proficiency in utilizing underwriting systems.
