Job Title: Senior Payments Manager

This is a senior role for a payments specialist to lead and manage the team ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.

The role involves managing the payments team, overseeing payment processes, reviewing payment requests, and preparing reports for management review.

  • Leading and mentoring a team of payments specialists to achieve high performance and professional growth.
  • Overseeing the processing of vendor payments, payroll payments, and manual payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing payment requests for completeness, accuracy, and proper authorisation before processing payments.
  • Preparing regular reports and key performance indicators for management review.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a payments specialist position with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity, experience in achieving deadlines, and prioritising tasks.
  • Strong IT skills and experience working with banking platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
