Senior Associate - Data Protection and Digital Regulation


We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our growing commercial team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data protection and digital regulation, with experience advising global clients on transformative matters.


The team is renowned for its sector expertise, advising on cutting-edge issues. With a collaborative, cross-border approach, you will work closely with international colleagues, contributing meaningfully to a high-performing team culture.


In this role, you will:


  • Advise on complex commercial contracts, particularly in tech, IP, digital services, media and life sciences.
  • Provide pragmatic legal advice, guiding clients through their regulatory and data protection obligations, often in cross-jurisdictional contexts.
  • Support the growth of the practice and contribute to firm-wide initiatives.
  • Engage in business development activities and build trusted relationships with clients.

The ideal person:


  • At least 5 years' PQE with strong experience in commercial law, data protection and digital regulation.
  • An ideal background working within technology, life sciences or similar innovation-led sectors.
  • Proven ability to advise clients directly and handle complex regulatory environments.
  • Collegiate and ambitious with a desire to grow alongside a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Drafting and reviewing commercial leases and service agreements.

  • Capital raising and governance docs.
  • Terms and conditions.

Requirements


To succeed in this role, you should have:


  • At least 2-4 years' PQE with a strong grounding in corporate/commercial law.
  • Qualified in Ireland with top tier or international law firm experience.
  • A collaborative approach and sound commercial judgment.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
