Cork City Nursing Leadership Opportunity

The Senior Nursing Leader is responsible for providing strategic direction to the nursing team. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective nursing strategies that align with organisational goals.
- Provide clinical leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared objectives and improve patient outcomes.
- Be registered, or eligible for registration, in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Have 10 years post-registration nursing experience consisting of at least three years' experience nursing older people in the last six years, and 5 years nursing management experience
- Be educated to Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) maintained by Quality & Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) in nursing or related field
- Possess the requisite clinical, leadership, managerial and administrative knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the office
- A comprehensive job specification will be provided to the successful candidate
- The HSE will need input into the candidate selection and an interview will be required
