Job Overview

The primary function of this role is the inspection of raw materials, finished devices, packaged devices, sterilized devices and device history records to ensure that all product and paperwork meets specified quality control requirements.

Reporting to a Supervisor, Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products manufactured at the facility as per relevant FQC instructions and verify compliance with quality control specifications before shipping.
  • Inspect raw materials received on site and ensure they meet required quality control specifications before release for use in manufacturing.
  • Verify finished goods packaged at the facility meet quality control specifications.
  • Inspect product completed the sterilization cycle and verify it meets quality control specifications before shipping.
  • Review device history records in line with Batch Release procedures and verify compliance before releasing product to stock.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines including proper gowning, following procedures accurately and completing paperwork correctly.
  • Highlight potential issues to Team Leaders.
  • Contribute to attainment of overall KPI targets by achieving daily/weekly quality and output targets.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or QC inspection role.
  • Previous experience in medical devices is advantageous.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours and days.
  • Willingness to travel on company business.
